A. General – Use Agreement

SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT SA, which is seated in Athens (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), is the developer of the website www.systems-sunlight.com (hereinafter referred to as the “website”). The visitor/user accepts the following terms of use, which apply to the entire content, the pages, the graphics, the images, the photographs and the files contained in the website. The existing services, as well as any new ones included in this website, are subject to these terms of use, unless explicitly excluded therefrom.

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time and without notice to the users thereof. The use of the website, even after any changes made, entails the unconditional acceptance of such terms by the visitor/user.

 

B. Industrial and Intellectual Property Rights – Liability of Visitor/User

The content (including text, graphics, trademarks and logos) and the design of the website constitute the intellectual property of the Company, in accordance with the applicable law and are available only for personal and not for commercial or any other use. Therefore, it is prohibited to copy, reproduce, reissue, amend and transfer them in any manner whatsoever without the written consent/permission of the Company. The appearance of the content specified above on the website may not be construed as a transfer or assignment of the license or the right to use any of the items specified above.

All other products or services which are mentioned in the pages of this website and bear the trademarks of their respective organizations, companies, association bodies, unions or publications, constitute their own intellectual and industrial property and therefore such bodies bear the relevant responsibility.

The visitor/user of the website must comply with the rules of law and to refrain from any use which is illegal and contrary to moral principles. Indicatively, the user agrees that:

  • They will not prevent any other user from using the website, by causing damage to the content or the way of operation thereof.
  • They will not cause damage to the website by means of using malware (e.g. software containing viruses) and they will not use files or software designed to interrupt, damage or destroy the operation equipment of any software or hardware or collect or store personal data of other users.
  • They will not use any data mining system in order to reproduce the way of navigation, presentation and structure of this particular website.
  • They will not take any action violating any third party patents, trademarks, business secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights.

The visitor/user of the website’s pages and services shall assume liability for any damage caused to the website from any misuse or abuse of the relevant services.

 

C. Data Protection

The management and protection of the website user’s personal data is governed by the terms of this, as well as the relevant provisions of the Greek Law, the European Union Law and the International Law.

Minors or persons who have no active legal capacity may access the website only after the consent of their guardians and are not required to disclose their personal data.

Such data may never be disclosed to any third parties (except as provided by the Law). The website keeps records of such data exclusively for the purposes of communication, sales, statistics and improvement of the services provided.

In any case, after contacting the Company and determining the existence of their personal data, the website’s user is entitled at all times to request the deletion, correction or change thereof. In this case, the Company shall modify or delete the user’s contact information from its database as soon as possible.

The website may use cookies to identify the user. Cookies are small text files stored at the hard disk of every visitor, taking no information at all from the visitor’s computer. They are used for statistical purposes, in order to identify the segments of the website that are useful and popular.

 

D. Disclaimer 

The Company makes every effort in order for the website to operate smoothly. However, it may be temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond the Company’s control. The website is under no circumstances, including negligence, responsible for any damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, the services, the options and the content of the website, who takes such action out of their own initiative and have knowledge of these terms. In particular, the website is not liable for any special, indirect or incidental, direct or consequential damage caused by visiting the website and/or using the services or the information contained in the website.

The Company may, at any time, modify, suspend or discontinue any specific features of the website or the operation thereof may be suspended/discontinued for reasons beyond its control.

The Company makes every effort to ensure that the website is secure for the users, but does not guarantee that any software or information therein are free from malicious codes-viruses or other items of a destructive nature to the user’s computer system. It is the sole responsibility of each user to apply appropriate software and secure the information and the system thereof.

 

E. Links to other sites

The website does not control the availability, the content, the data protection policy, the quality and the completeness of the services of other websites and pages to which it refers through “links”, hyperlinks or advertising banners. Therefore, in case any problem arises during the visit/use of such websites and pages, you should directly contact them, since they bear the responsibility for the provision of their services. The website shall by no means be deemed to embrace or accept the content or the services of websites and pages to which it refers or that it is linked thereto in any other way.

 

F. Governing law, Jurisdiction and miscellaneous terms

These terms and conditions are governed and supplemented by the Greek law, the European Union law and the relevant international treaties. In case any of the aforementioned provisions becomes contrary to the applicable laws, it automatically ceases to have any effect and is removed from the present, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms. The Courts of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute that may arise.

This constitutes the entire agreement between the website and the visitor/user of the pages and the services thereof and is binding only upon them. No amendment to these terms will be taken into account and become a part of this agreement, unless expressed in writing and incorporated thereto.
