Honorary distinction for SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT S.A. at the “GREEK VALUE Awards of Northern Greece”
SYSTEM SUNLIGHT S.A., recognized for its entrepreneurshipHonorary distinction for SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT S.A. at the “GREEK VALUE Awards of Northern Greece” in Northern Greece, won the Prize of “Eastern Macedonia – Thrace”. More specifically, SUNLIGHT started its production activity in Greece in 1991, in Neo Olvio – Xanthi, systematically investing in developing its manufacturing plant, which is among the most modern industrial units in Europe.
The manufacturing plant -a core element of SUNLIGHT’s dynamic growth- employs 350 workers. Offers high-end production lines for batteries of industrial and advanced applications, and furthermore runs assembly lines for a variety of energy systems. Its production capacity is constantly expanding, while 98% of the products are globally exported, based on SUNLIGHT’s fully export orientation.
It operates in accordance with the strictest international standards, while is certified for applying management systems for Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (BS OHSAS 18001).
In the same premises, also hosts the Supply Chain and Logistics Center, as well as the specialized Research and Development Department of SUNLIGHT, which focuses on designing, developing and evaluating innovative high quality storage and power supply systems.
This award is part of the initiative undertaken by the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (F.I.N.G.), in cooperation with the financial newspaper Express, entitled as “GREEK VALUE Awards of Northern Greece”. “The GREEK VALUE Awards of Northern Greece is a new institution for the business activity whose aim is to highlight and reward the best practices in the business sector. This award is a moral reward for our efforts for the past 20 years and provides the spark to continue even more dynamically in the development of new products and services, in order to improve the competitiveness and strengthen the manufacturing activity in our country”, said the President of the company, Mr. Christos Kartalis.
