In almost all European countries the industrial truck market (2010) could significantly recover from the impact of the economic crisis.
All types of industrial trucks contributed significantly to the recovery, whereby forklift trucks showed a stronger growth than warehouse trucks, compensating also for the bigger declines seen in 2009. Considering the bigger national markets individually, the strongest increase in demand was found in Germany and the UK, in Eastern Europe especially Russia showed a strong recovery. The year 2011 so far confirms further increase of market demand in Europe with 34% in Western Europe and 70% in Eastern Europe after the first half of 2011.
